Transformer equipment manufacturers will be able to book 100% of their employees. This decision was made by the Government, taking into account the emergency situation in the energy sector and the shortage of some specialists.
What are the conditions to have 100% reservation from mobilization?
The government has made an important decision for energy equipment manufacturers so that enterprises can operate uninterruptedly and retain specialized engineers, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced.
Enterprises that manufacture and repair transformers for the energy sector will be able to reserve all military-duty employees. The Government has also reduced the number of criteria for recognizing a company as critical – two instead of three,
– the official said.
This will allow manufacturers of equipment critical to the rapid restoration of energy facilities to operate uninterruptedly in conditions of large-scale power outages .
The criteria that must be met by enterprises that claim the status of importance for the national economy in the defense industry and may receive the right to reserve up to 100% of employees are as follows:
- Execution of a state contract (agreement) in the field of defense. The volume of production of defense products must be more than 50% of the total volume of the enterprise.
- Obtaining state financial support in the form of grants for defense needs.
- Management of state-owned objects, which regulates, controls and coordinates the activities of defense industry enterprises.
By the way, in January, decisions were already made for individual companies to reserve 100% of their personnel, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
At that time, it was about reserving workers for energy companies and utilities involved in the elimination of the consequences of Russian strikes. According to the President, the lack of effective response on the ground should not be attributed to a shortage of personnel – cities have the resources to attract people to work.
