Power engineers have restored electricity supply to almost 27 thousand consumers across Ukraine

On February 28, power engineers restored electricity supply to 26,590 consumers left without power due to ongoing hostilities.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported this, according to Ukrinform.

“Yesterday, power engineers restored power supply to 26,590 consumers left without power as a result of the fighting,” the statement said.

Due to damage to energy infrastructure caused by Russian attacks, the transmission system operator was forced to impose restrictions on the supply of electricity to industrial enterprises and organizations.

The Department of Energy has called for smarter use of electricity throughout the day to reduce strain on the system, particularly during peak morning and evening hours.
