PM Shmyhal: Government planning large-scale deregulation for business
"In 2022, we found the right balance between covering a record budget deficit and at the same time helping businesses survive. These efforts continue to be made this year as well. We have to ensure the financing of all critical expenses. We work with partners, elaborate a new program with the IMF. We plan large-scale deregulation for business. We will continue to cancel unnecessary permits and licenses," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at the Cabinet’s meeting on March 14, Ukrinform reports.
The Prime Minister noted that all the main programs supporting small and medium-sized enterprises will be preserved and expanded.
"These are 5-7-9% loans, non-refundable grants, eRobota project, portfio guarantees. Just like the previous year, we will help farmers sow, harvest, and store. We will implement OECD standards," Shmyhal emphasized.
According to him, Ukraine will continue reducing the re of the state in the economy.
"This means that we will continue small-scale privatization and resume large-scale privatization to provide incentives for the economic recovery," the Head of Government explained.
