Owner of supermarket chain Silpo buys rival Furshet

Fozzy Group, the owner of the Silpo supermarket chain, has purchased another Ukrainian store chain, Furshet, according to the Anti-Monopoly Committee (AMCU), which signed off on the deal.

Furshet’s parent company, Retail Center, recently began bankruptcy proceedings.
