Due to security conditions, the Nova Poshta branch in the village of Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhia region, is closing. The company says that they delayed this decision until the last minute, but it is no longer possible to work there.

“Nova Poshta” closed one of its branches: what is known?

For almost 2 years, the branch in Komišuvas has been an important logistics point, the company reported.

In March alone, 10,000 parcels passed through it, and about a hundred people came to receive food, medicine, and humanitarian aid.

Now the branch has decided to close due to constant shelling, the danger of FPV drone attacks, and proximity to the front, which puts the lives of the team and customers at risk.

The Nova Poshta branch in Komyshuva was opened by the company's partners – father and son – Mykola and Kirill Grabky. It was staffed by Kirill himself and 7 of our employees: the branch manager Oleksandr, operators Vasyl, Vadym and Svitlana, loaders Denys and Oleksandr, driver Yuriy. All of them were residents of the front-line Zaporizhzhia region: from Komyshuvakha itself and from nearby villages destroyed by the Russians,
– reported in “Nova Poshta”.

After closing the branch in Komyšuvas, the partners – the Grabk family – are preparing to open a new branch in one of the neighboring settlements.

Why is Zaporizhia region a priority for Russia?

Military commentator Denis Popovych said on Channel 24 that in the south, the Russians are currently focused not on Mykolaiv or Odessa. According to him, the main goal here is much closer and it is this that can open the way for the enemy further to Zaporizhia.

Currently, the Russians are holding two main lines of pressure: Donetsk region and the south. In the east, they have not abandoned the plan to press the entire region, so they are continuing offensive operations in several areas. At the same time, in the south, they are increasingly pushing forward the Zaporizhzhia direction , because it opens up the opportunity for them to press closer to the regional center.

They want to capture the Donetsk region completely. And this is precisely what their offensive actions were aimed at, including in the Pokrov direction, towards the Kramatorsk agglomeration,
– Popovich emphasized.

In the south, the current plan is not to rush towards Mykolaiv or Odessa. The immediate plan there is much more mundane: first, to shake up the Ukrainian defenses in the Zaporizhia region, knock them out of an important area, and only then expand the possibilities for further offensives.

As for the southern zone, this is the capture of Orekhov, apparently, within a small radius, in order to displace our group from there and create a single front of attack directly on Zaporizhia,
– he said.

If the Russians manage to advance in this area, they will try to increase pressure on Zaporizhia itself. Therefore, Orekhov now looks like the city under the greatest threat in the southern direction.
