Norway plans to allocate $2.7B for assistance to Ukraine in 2025

That is according to The Guardian, Ukrinform reports.

“Norway has agreed to raise its planned fiscal support for Ukraine next year to 30 billion crowns ($2.7 billion) from 27 billion crowns this year, the prime minister said, reversing an earlier prosal to cut the spending.

It is noted that the minority centre-left government had last month prosed allocating just 15 billion crowns to Ukraine in 2025, triggering criticism from position parties.

As reported by Ukrinform, in September, the Norwegian government extended the period of annual assistance to Ukraine until 2030 and intended to allocate an additional $475 million (5 billion crowns) annually for this purpose.

In October, the Norwegian government approved a EUR 6.4 million aid package for Ukraine.
