According to Sskyi, despite the war, Ukraine continues to supply food to the countries in need. For this purpose, as part of the Grain from Ukraine initiative, a total of 25,000 tonnes of grain will be delivered to Nigeria. Food shipments are expected to start in the coming months.
A reminder that the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian food program was initiated by Ukrainian President Vodymyr Zelensky. As part of this program, partner states purchase Ukrainian-produced grain and send it to the countries facing a humanitarian crisis.
