The fast food chain opened its first restaurant in 2026. It appeared near Lviv, in a location with convenient transport connections, and is designed for 287 guests.
What is known about the new McDonald's?
The location of the chain's first restaurant opened in 2026 is stated in a statement by the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers (URTC).
The new and very first McDonald's in 2026 was opened near Lviv, in the village of Basivka , at the address – Zelena Bichna Street, 100.
Note! The institution became the 121st in Ukraine and the 13th in the Lviv region.
The fast food restaurant is located on the Ring Road, next to shopping centers and a future residential complex. Therefore, the establishment has a convenient transport interchange and will be a convenient place for people traveling or even living in neighboring areas.
In particular, it is known that the restaurant has an area of 468.9 square meters, 121 seats in the hall and 156 seats on the terrace. The establishment has a generator in case of power outages. Also available are orders:
- in the hall at the self-service terminals from 7:00 to 23:00;
- “McDrive” from 5:00 to 23:30;
- “Mobile ordering” – in the application.
Please note! The new McDonald's is 45 jobs that the company created for the new restaurant.

The fast food chain continues to operate even despite the full-scale war. Thus, over the past 4 years, the company has opened 33 new restaurants in different regions and increased the network by more than 25%. This was reported by the press service of McDonald's Ukraine in a comment to Delo.ua.
In particular, the company opened 12 establishments in 2025. The first McDonald's appeared in the Transcarpathian region, in Uzhhorod and Mukachevo.
One more restaurant was added in Brovary, Lutsk, Hatne, Zhytomyr, and Chernivtsi. In Lviv, 3 establishments were opened, one of which is based on the concept of sustainable design .

Also, to support Ukraine during the war and promote economic stability, and to provide/support thousands of jobs in related sectors, the company purchases over 60% of its products from Ukrainian manufacturers. This includes cooperation with local logistics companies, waste processing enterprises, construction and development businesses.
