Where and what exactly can be changed for individual entrepreneur data?
Tax consultant Mykhailo Smokovich talked about what needs to be done to update an entrepreneur's data on his YouTube channel.
According to the lawyer, in order to make changes to information about the company, you can contact the ASCs, or you can do everything through Diya, online.
In particular, through Action you can change:
- KVEDs;
- contact details available in the State Register;
- the entrepreneur's registration address.
It is important that you cannot change the data in the mobile application. To update the information, you must use the web version. That is, you need to find the public services portal through a search engine and only then, following the sequential steps, update the data.
Algorithm of actions for changing data about an individual entrepreneur:
- go to the Actions web service;
- then you need to enter the office;
- register if you have not logged in before;
- then, when the system lets you into the office, you need to go to the “All services” section;
- find and select “making changes to the individual entrepreneur”;
- then submit an application;
- When the next window opens, there will be all the information about the individual entrepreneur and separate “Edit” buttons for each of the sections.
After that, the entrepreneur changes the necessary information and everything is practically ready.
Also, as noted on the Action website, changing contact information or KVEDs is free. However, changing your full name or address of your place of registration requires an administrative fee of 250 hryvnia .

How to change information about an individual entrepreneur through the ASC?
The state services website explains that to change business information through the ASC, the algorithm of actions will be slightly different.
Yes, you need to submit an application to the Center for Administrative Services or to the executive committee of the city council without reference to the declared place of residence or registration address of the individual entrepreneur.
To change the taxpayer number, you must additionally submit a copy of the certificate of change of the RNOKPP.
If an entrepreneur changes passport data, they must also provide photocopies of the first page.
If an entrepreneur is unable to personally apply to the Central Agency for Economic and Social Development, there is another option for submitting documents. Yes, the application and the necessary copies must be sent by mail. However, before sending, the signature must be certified by a notary.
What else do you need to know about the rules for sole proprietors?
It is important for all entrepreneurs to pay taxes on time. In particular, this concerns the single tax and military tax. If the tax office detects a delayed payment, or the entrepreneur did not pay at all, they can issue a fine. At the same time, tax audits are now more automated. Thus, it is possible to find even minor discrepancies in the declarations of entrepreneurs.
Also, Ukrainian entrepreneurs used to use simplified taxation more. That is, this type of taxation was simpler for doing business. Now it is better to switch to the general taxation system, because there are fewer risks and there are advantages. For example, there are no income limits, and taxes are paid on income, not turnover.
