‘Green Metallurgy’ to get its first financial incentive

Steel being created in an electrical arc furnace inside Interpipe Group’s Dniprosteel metalworks. It is one of the five metallurgical plants in Ukraine that may qualify for a new incentive that rewards companies that reduce their CO2 emissions. Most Ukrainian metalworks still use older open hearth furnace technology.
