Finance Ministry places bonds worth UAH 5.5B
On January 17, 2022, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry placed government domestic bonds worth UAH 5.5 billion.
This is said in a statement released by the Ukrainian Finance Ministry, Ukrinform reports.
"Flowing the placement of government domestic bonds on January 17, 2023, UAH 5,542,997,220.95 was attracted to the state budget," the ministry said.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the wake of the Russian aggression, the Ukrainian government decided on the phased issue of military bonds in the amount of up to UAH 400 billion.
The Finance Ministry hds bond auctions every Tuesday, starting from March 1, 2022.
According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, almost UAH 600 billion was raised through the issue of military bonds in 2022.
