Decarbonization Fund provides support for over 30 projects – State Agency on Energy Efficiency

Decarbonization Fund JSC has provided support for more than 30 projects since it was launched to increase energy efficiency in communities and enterprises.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving First Deputy Head Mariia Malaia in a commentary to Ukrinform.

“To date, the Decarbonization Fund has considered over 70 projects. Of them, more than 30 projects have already received funding,” Malaia td.

In her words, the Decarbonization Fund began to provide support for energy efficiency measures in October 2024.

According to Malaia, most projects that had received funding were those submitted by local self-government authorities. In particular, they included thermal modernization efforts in an Odesa-based kindergarten network, as well as increasing the energy efficiency of street lighting, water services companies, and hospitals.

The Decarbonization Fund’s portfio also covers about 10 business projects intended to increase energy efficiency in large industrial facilities and small enterprises.

A reminder that, on September 27, 2024, Decarbonization Fund JSC financed its first energy efficiency project, namely the modernization of the street lighting network in the Mykaiv region’s Voznesensk.
