The company recalled that the main reason for the deficit is damage to power plants (generating capacity) and high-vtage networks inflicted by Russia's attacks on the energy system. Also, more than 10 GW of the main installed capacities are currently inaccessible to the Ukrainian energy system, being under the enemy contr. These include Eure’s largest nuclear power plant, Zaporizhia NPP, as well as Zaporizhia TPP, Luhansk TPP, Vuhlehirsk TPP, and Kakhovska HPP.
As reported, Ukraine's energy system has already withstood 13 enemy missile attacks and 15 waves of UAV strikes on energy facilities. Repairs are currently underway at all energy facilities damaged by Russian attacks.
