Bulk carrier with 30,000 t of wheat for Ethiia leaves Chornomorsk Port

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The bulk carrier AMIRA HANA will deliver 30,000 tonnes of wheat to the Port of Djibouti, from where the Ukrainian grain will be transported to Ethiia, whose residents are suffering from hunger,” the report states.

According to the ministry, it is the fourth vessel to have left the Odesa region’s Chornomorsk Port as part of the Grain from Ukraine program.

A reminder that the Grain from Ukraine program was initiated by Ukrainian President Vodymyr Zelensky. It provides for the purchase of Ukrainian-produced grain by partner states and its delivery to the countries facing a humanitarian crisis. The Grain from Ukraine program is implemented in partnership with the UN World Food Programme.
