Since the beginning of 2026, tax officials have already recorded violations worth 3.2 million hryvnias in the resort area of Yaremche region and at the Bukovel ski resort. Among the high-profile scandals is an illegal hotel.
Results of the tax inspection of Bukovel
This year, 62 actual inspections were conducted, according to the State Tax Service.
The inspection revealed 22 unregistered employees and a hotel operating without state registration.
Despite the late start of the ski season in 2025, revenue for November-December increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2024 – by 545.3 million hryvnias. Total revenue for this period amounted to 1.78 billion hryvnias compared to 1.24 billion a year earlier.
Instead, in 2025, 214 actual inspections were conducted in the resort area of Yaremche region and at the Bukovel ski resort. 472 violations of tax and other legislation were identified in the amount of 3.4 million hryvnias:
- 26 unregistered employees,
- 5 cases of entrepreneurship without state registration,
- conducting settlement operations without using RRO/PRRO.
