During the difficult winter, individual entrepreneurs of groups 2-3 who work in socially important areas can receive a one-time cash assistance from the state. The funds are directed to ensuring energy sustainability.

What help can a business get?

As of Wednesday, February 11, more than 20,000 entrepreneurs have submitted applications, and the first money is already in their accounts. Details were reported in the “Diya”.

The program works for small and medium-sized businesses with employees registered before December 1, 2025.

With money you can buy a generator, fuel, equipment for autonomous power supply, solar panels, or pay for electricity.

The amount of assistance depends on the number of employees:

  • 1 employee – 7,500 hryvnias;
  • 2 employees – 9,000 hryvnias;
  • 3 employees – 10,500 hryvnias;
  • 4 employees – 12,000 hryvnias;
  • 5 employees – 13,500 hryvnias;
  • 6 or more employees – 15,000 hryvnias.

How to apply for assistance to self-employed persons?

You can receive the service online until March 31. To do this, click “Submit an application” on the Diya portal at the link , then log in or register in the citizen's account.

Check your details and indicate what you plan to spend the assistance on. Then select or open Action.Card.

The last step is to review the application data and sign it. After receiving the funds, you can spend them on the selected categories.

Please note! Among the conditions is the absence of arrears in payment of social security contributions for employees as of January 26, 2026. The main KVED must be among those allowed on the list .

How else do you support business in winter?

  • The first preferential loan in the amount of 1.1 million hryvnias was issued in Ukraine for generators and other energy equipment within the framework of the “Affordable Loans 5 – 7 – 9” program.

  • As of February 9, 18 banks received 417 applications from businesses for a total of UAH 487 million. Loans are provided for a term of up to 3 years for an amount of up to UAH 10 million.
