A program to support small agribusiness has been launched in Ukraine
The fifth wave of the SEED educational grant program, which supports micro and small businesses in times of economic instability, has begun in Ukraine, reports “Time for Action.” The initiator was the UN Global Compact in Ukraine.
The program is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine with the support of PepsiCo and the PepsiCo Foundation, which, according to the organizers, ensures the stability and long-term sustainability of the initiative.
Please note! SEED 5.0 is focused on entrepreneurs in the fields of farming, agrotechnology and processing, as well as related areas – agritourism, gastronomic projects and organic production. A separate area concerns environmental initiatives, in particular water purification and sustainable land use. Beginners with a business idea who plan to create an agrostartup from scratch can also apply.
Special attention is paid to entrepreneurs who have suffered from war or were forced to relocate their business. In addition to financial support, participants will receive access to an educational program: online courses on marketing, investments, and strategic planning, master classes from Ukrainian and international experts, support in developing a business plan, and the opportunity to join a community of entrepreneurs.
After completing the training, more than 10 of the best projects will receive grants of 100 thousand hryvnias each. To participate, you must fill out a questionnaire and submit a business idea presentation by March 3, 2026 – in the format of up to 5 PowerPoint slides, a video up to 2 minutes long, or a text document up to 2 pages long.
Important! The organizers emphasize: the main thing is to clearly show how the grant funds will help implement or scale the project. Over the previous four waves of the program, dozens of entrepreneurs were able to restore their businesses after destruction or launch new production after relocation.
