US removes Russian ships from sanctions list
The US Treasury Department has decided to remove three Russian vessels from the sanctions list. The corresponding decision was announced by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
These are the container ships Fesco Moneron, Fesco Magadan, as well as the cargo ship Sv Nikolay. At the same time, the ship Sv Nikolay attracted particular attention, reports the UP.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, this ship was previously used to export agricultural products from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, the ship repeatedly called at ports, from where it transported grain to Turkey.
Important! Thus, the exclusion of a vessel from the sanctions list may raise additional questions regarding control over the transportation of Ukrainian agricultural products and compliance with sanctions policy.
