Many Ukrainian citizens have the right to reservation. This applies in particular to some farmers.

Which farmers can get reservations in March 2026?

However, land owners must meet certain criteria to receive a reservation, as described on the website Yurysty.UA.

So the Ukrainian asked if he could create a farm and become a legal entity in order to receive a reservation from mobilization. In particular, he specified that he had a land share of 7 hectares.

However, lawyers explained that everything is not so simple. Under such conditions, it is impossible to get a reservation from the draft, because the creation of a farm in itself does not give it. In this situation, it is necessary for the farm to receive the status of critically important , and after that, a reservation is made for specific individuals (including the head of the farm, if he is the manager).

In particular, Order No. 3650 of December 22, 2025, specifies the criteria that an individual must meet to receive a reservation. This must be done to confirm the status of a critical enterprise in the agricultural sector.

Criterion 1 is that the enterprise must carry out activities related to the production, processing and sale (export) of agricultural products, the main type of activity according to the KVEDs.

Criterion 2 – The farm must meet one of the following three criteria:

1. to cultivate perennial plantations on an area of at least 50 hectares for the production of fruit products that are on the balance sheet of the enterprise;
2. to cultivate agricultural land on an area of at least 1,000 hectares for agricultural activities;
3. to be economically active.

Please note! The annual income in this case must be at least 40 million hryvnias.

What else should Ukrainians know?

• Let us remind you that the minimum wage in Ukraine changed in January 2026. Therefore, the minimum threshold for receiving a reservation also changed.
• Since the booking, the employee's accrued salary must be at least 21,617.50 UAH. However, for new bookings, it is not necessary that the salary for the previous period be higher than the established limit.
