Ukrainian peas enter the Chinese market
China has officially opened its market to Ukrainian peas after completing an audit of Ukrainian enterprises, the State Administration for Food Safety and Consumer Protection reported. The corresponding decision was made by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
The State Food and Consumer Protection Service of Ukraine emphasized that this step creates additional opportunities for Ukrainian producers and expands exports to one of the largest food markets in the world. The export permit was granted after the Chinese side analyzed technical and video materials on the work of Ukrainian enterprises and their laboratory capabilities.
Interesting! Currently, the Chinese side has registered two Ukrainian pea storage and processing enterprises that participated in the audit and can export to China.
At the same time, the State Service for Food and Consumer Protection of Ukraine included three companies in the list of exporters, and four more in the list of pea producers that will work for the Chinese market.
Please note! To begin supplying, enterprises must meet the requirements of the so-called Roadmap, which defines the key conditions for entering the Chinese market. All necessary documents, including the phytosanitary requirements protocol and a list of enterprises, are published on the official website of the department.
