The capital city has already as many as 416 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city rose by 20 in the past day.

“In the past day, another 20 Kyivans contracted the coronavirus. In total, there are 416 lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases (including seven deaths),” he wrote on Facebook on Sunday, April 12.

According to Klitschko, 15 men aged 19 to 74 and five women aged 49 to 60 are among those infected. One of them is a healthcare worker.

Klitschko said four new patients had been hospitalized, while another 16 were self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under the supervision of doctors.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine was 2,777, including 83 deaths, on Sunday morning.
