Two Ukrainians in critical condition, six stable after bus accident in Hungary

The accident occurred outside Budapest.

Two Ukrainian citizens are in a critical condition and another six are stable after a bus evacuating them towards the Ukrainian border has crashed in Hungary.

“On the 75th kilometer of the M3 motorway near the city of Budapest, there was a road accident involving a bus transporting Ukrainian citizens to the evacuation point at the Tysa checkpoint. According to the latest update, there were eight people in the vehicle. Two persons are in a critical condition, the condition of another six is satisfactory,” Zakarpattia’s Deputy Governor Ihor Shynkariuk said on Facebook on April 7.

According to him, all the injured are in the hospital. “Our representatives of the diplomatic corps are following the [respective] protocol,” he said.

As UNIAN reported, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine says 6,400 Ukrainians returned to their home country over the past day.
