Ukrposhta and IT-Enterprise (Kyiv) have signed an agreement on the implementation of an integrated ERP system worth UAH 95.8 million, the press service of the national postal operator said on Wednesday.
"In two years, we plan to completely transfer all the processes of accounting and management of resources and flows of the company into a new unified system. This will reduce the influence of the human factor on the formation and processing of data, unite all flows and all directorates in real time. In addition, we will transfer online workflow and significantly increase information security due to a secure data storage format. We plan to start implementing the new system throughout the country by the end of 2021. This is the foundation on which we will build future front and CRM systems," the Ukrposhta press service said, citing its CEO Igor Smelyansky.
Ukrposhta said the company currently has more than 80 accounting systems for the company's resources, which have been operating since the 2000s. Many of them work only in a certain region and are in no way combined with the management office and other directorates.
"Digital transformation allows companies to improve their work and reduce costs and errors caused by the human factor. We are pleased to help Ukrposhta increase efficiency through digitalization, a transition to modern digital process management," CEO of IT-Enterprise Oleh Scherbatenko said.
The company said in the statement the next step of Ukrposhta will be a tender for the purchase of a new front-system to automate all processes in departments and the work of operators.
"This will improve the quality of services provided to customers and reduce the time required to provide operations. After that, Ukrposhta will implement a CRM system," the company said.
Ukrposhta announced a tender for the purchase of a system for managing information flows, business processes and resources with a declared value of almost UAH 197 million on May 21, 2020. Eight companies submitted their proposals, and among two applicants from the register of tender proposals, IT-Enterprise offered a price of UAH 95.8 million, which is 52% lower than the announced tender value.
IT-Enterprise is one of the leaders in the IT solutions market for medium and large enterprises. The company employs over 350 specialists.
