The Ministry of Social Policy states that the department itself, the Pension Fund and social protection agencies are working in the normal mode, and the attack on the registers of the Ministry of Justice will not affect the implementation of social payments for citizens.
"To the attention of recipients of social payments and benefits! As you know, the aggressor country recently carried out a cyber attack on the state registers of Ukraine. Therefore, some services of the state registers are temporarily unavailable, and work is currently underway to restore them. We inform you: the Ministry of Social Policy, the Pension Fund, and social protection agencies are working in the normal mode," the ministry said in a statement.
The department said the attack on the registers of the Ministry of Justice will not affect the implementation of payments for citizens, and all of them will be made according to the schedule.
"Benefit payments in January will also be made on time. The calculation work continues, despite the increased workload on our specialists. We would like to note separately that payments for IDPs will also be calculated and paid in accordance with the schedule," the ministry said.
As reported, on December 19, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine announced a large-scale failure at the level of the network infrastructure servicing state registries.
