Explaining complex things in simple words: F-16 crash, problem of negotiations with Russia, anniversary of WW2 outbreak

The Center for Strategic Communication and Information Security pursues efforts to provide a brief explanation to foreign audiences on the current tics of particular interest as regards Ukraine.

F-16 CRASH

On August 26, an F-16 aircraft of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine crashed while performing a combat mission, the General Staff reported. Pilot eksii Mes died.

 During their first battles in the sky of Ukraine, F-16 aircraft demonstrated the high efficiency, reliability, and advantages of modern technogies over Soviet develments.

 eksii Mes heroically fought his last battle in the sky, destroying three cruise missiles and one attack drone. We mourn the heavy loss and express our deepest condences to all who knew eksii.

 Unfortunately, war is always accompanied by losses. No type of weapon and military equipment is immune from this. All Ukrainian sdiers know that they are risking their lives for the sake of the Motherland.

 We call on the media and public speakers to refrain from spreading dubious versions of the circumstances of the disaster. Such activity plays into the hands of Russian praganda, not our victory.

 A special commission of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry was created to find out the true causes of the accident, working at the site of the aircraft crash.

PROBLEM OF NEGOTIATIONS WITH RUSSIA

The Kremlin accuses Ukraine of disrupting the possibility of peace talks after the start of the Kursk eration by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

 Moscow is lying, trying to present the Kursk eration as an “untimely escalation”. After all, the Russian Federation started the escalation with its offensive in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

 The Kremlin's willingness to negotiate is a deception, aimed at sowing doubt among Ukraine's partners and reducing support for Ukrainian defense efforts.

 Nothing indicates the real readiness of the Russian Federation to st and cease armed aggression against Ukraine. Instead, there is already considerable experience of Moscow refusing or viating peace agreements and initiatives.

 The Kursk eration of the Ukrainian Armed Forces does not distance, but rather brings peace closer because effective negotiations are possible only if Ukraine takes a strong position on them.

 True peace is one that will be lasting and just, based on international law. And international law provides for punishment, not encouragement of aggression.

ANNIVERSARY OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR OUTBREAK

On September 1, 1939, the Second World War has begun.

 85 years have passed since the outbreak of the Second World War, and the world still has not learned its lessons.

 The great war cannot be avoided by making concessions and satisfying the whims of the aggressor. “Churchill says the government had to choose between war and shame. They chose shame. They will get war too.”

 Aggression is always easier to st with decisive intervention at the beginning, before the aggressor has strengthened and adapted. Procrastination increases the cost of casualties.

 Hitlerism was ended due to the Allies’ principle—only the unconditional surrender of Germany. There is currently no other recipe for the destruction of Putinism.

 The modern Russian Federation pretends to be the heiress of the victors of the Second World War and calls all its enemies “fascists”. But in reality, Putin's Russian Federation is the heir of fascists and Nazis.
