At a meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Picy Josep Borrell in Washington, D.C., Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba discussed accelerating the supply of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy said this in a post on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

“During our meeting, Josep Borrell and I discussed ways to speed up delivery of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, particularly air defense, in the wake of Russia’s intensified air strikes,” Kuleba posted.

He added that he emphasized the importance of further increasing Eurean defense industrial output and reiterated Ukraine’s call for EU governments to invest directly in Ukrainian arms manufacturers.

“Ukrainian companies can produce more if they have more resources at hand and investing in them is the fastest way to provide additional weapons to our frontline warriors,” the minister stressed.
