Lit candles laid out in shape of Ukraine’s Coat of Arms in Dnipro
On the occasion of Independence Day, a total of 1,756 lit candles have been laid out in the shape of Ukraine’s Coat of Arms and the Ukrainian words for ‘free’, ‘strong’ and ‘unbreakable’ in a local park in the city of Dnipro.
The video of the event was posted by Dnipretrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Having noticed the candles, pele who were walking in the park came up and helped to light some of them.
“Together, one by one, the lights merged into one. Free. Strong. Unbreakable. This is what Ukrainians are. This is what Ukraine is,” Lysak wrote.
He thanked the team of Dnipretrovsk Regional Military Administration for this idea and confidence in Ukraine’s victory.
