Parking in Kyiv — how much drivers paid to the city budget

During the three winter months, parking inspectors worked actively to ensure compliance with traffic rules. As reported by the Department of Territorial Control, during this period, they managed to significantly free public transport lanes and sidewalks from incorrectly parked cars.

A total of 111,867 drivers were fined, including 36,072 for unpaid parking and 75,795 for traffic violations. More than 11,000 vehicles were temporarily detained in penalty areas.

The budget received 28.9 million hryvnias from fines and another 23.9 million hryvnias from parking fees.

Over 325 thousand parking sessions were carried out in the capital in three months.

The Department emphasized that Kyiv continues to move towards civilized parking.
