A famous surgeon and his TV presenter wife were killed by an enemy suicide bomber near Kyiv

On the night of February 26, a Russian “Shahed” hit a two-story residential building in the Kyiv region. A couple died at the scene of the tragedy. They are a famous surgeon and a TV presenter.

“A second body was found at the scene of the tragedy. The remains of the deceased will be tested for DNA, because it is impossible to identify them. Rescuers say that they found the bodies of a man and a woman – a married couple who lived here. Neighbors say that when the “Shahed” flew here at night, they ran to save them. But the drone flew into the bedroom, where the couple was probably. A famous surgeon lived in this house, as well as our TV colleague,” says Inna Bodnar.

Neighbors say they tried to save people, but the fire spread quickly.

“The impact was directly into the bedroom, because the fire was coming from there,” says the couple's neighbor.

Information about the victims of the Russian attack is not being provided, noting that the police are identifying the bodies.

Let us remind you that, according to information from the capital's public media, the arrival took place in the private sector of the village of Kryukivshchyna, which is in the suburbs of Kyiv.

In addition, eight private houses, two garages, a fence, and 20 cars were damaged.
Four more high-rise buildings were damaged in the same area. A 19-year-old girl and a 43-year-old man were injured.
