A 100-kilogram pig lives in an apartment in Kyiv

A pig named Margo has been living in a high-rise apartment in Kyiv for 14 years. Her owners adopted her when she was a piglet and were unable to part with her. Now the 100-kilogram pet gets along with people in the apartment and has her own habits.

How Margot the pig appeared

Margo's owner, Andriy Oborsky, says that the animal was given to him and his wife as a gift. At first, they thought it would remain a small piglet, but over time the piglet grew and gained weight. Despite this, the couple could not give it away because they loved it so much, writes Agroter.

The life of a pig in an apartment

Despite being an unconventional pet, its owners do not feel any discomfort. The pig goes for a walk twice a day and behaves neatly at home.

  • Margot doesn't do “her business” in the apartment;
  • It has no fur, so the house is clean;
  • It does not lick itself, and therefore does not carry dirt and parasites;
  • Calmly reacts to the sounds of sirens and explosions.

Andriy Oborsky notes that of all the pets they have had, Margo is one of the cleanest. She doesn't shed, doesn't have fleas, and doesn't cause any problems.

Although Margo the pig has become a local celebrity, for her owners she is just an ordinary member of the family. Despite her unusual dimensions for an apartment, the owners emphasize that caring for her is no more difficult than caring for a dog or cat.
