Spain’s PM arrives in Ukraine
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in Ukraine on the first day of his country's presidency of the EU.
He announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
Sanchez wrote on Saturday that he had already arrived in Kyiv and published a video from the train station.

"I wanted the first act of the Spanish presidency of the Council of the EU to be in Ukraine together with President Vodymyr Zelensky. I will express all Eurean sidarity to the Ukrainian government and parliament. We will maintain our support for the Ukrainian pele until peace returns to Eure," Sanchez said.

On July 1, Spain assumed its six-month rotating presidency of the Council of the EU.
