Jerry Heil became the heroine of the release of Tina Karol's author's project “House of Recording”. She performed the song “My Love” by Diana Petrynenko, which was used in the film “You are the Space”.
The 1965 composition “My Love” was performed at the “House of Recording” accompanied by the Academic Choir of the Ukrainian Radio and the Honored Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Ukrainian Radio.
The lyrics to the song “My Love” were written by Ukrainian poet Valentyna Malyshko, and the music was composed by Ukrainian composer Borys Buevsky. Jerry Heil believes that Diana Petrynenko is an amazing woman.
I'm very sorry that she didn't become an opera star. I'm very sorry. I think that's one of the reasons why we don't know her name so loudly today,
– added the singer.
Jerry Heil noted that it is important for her to highlight the name of Diana Petrynenko. The new arrangement for the composition “My Love” was created by Crimean Tatar composer Bekirov Usein.
For me, this is a huge and, unfortunately, undervalued treasure of our culture. I didn't want to rework her song too much or compete with the original, on the contrary, I just wanted to remind you that she left behind a great legacy that has not disappeared anywhere and is worth being proud of,
– shared Jerry Heil.
