Time for clarity on Ukraine’s NATO membership has come – FM Kuleba
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“During our call today, I commended NATO Secretary General Jens Sttenberg for his efforts to make the NATO summit in Vilnius a success. Ukraine continues to work actively with all NATO allies to convince them that the time for clarity on Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance has come,” Kuleba wrote.
A reminder that Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova stated earlier that Ukraine was coerating with the American side to determine certain prospects for the country’s guaranteed Euro-Atlantic integration.
According to Ukrainian Defense Minister eksii Reznikov, at the NATO Summit in Vilnius, Ukraine expects to receive a guarantee of an invitation to join NATO after the country’s victory in the war, as the three key prerequisites for being a member of the Alliance have been successfully implemented.
