One of the most popular Ukrainian travel services has decided to expand its capabilities. Now users will be able not only to call a car, but also to buy bus tickets – right in the application.
Bus transportation from Uklon: how to buy bus tickets?
The new service is called Uklon Travel. This was announced by the company's CEO Serhiy Grishkov, writes Forbes Ukraine.
Now you can buy tickets in the Uklon app:
- for domestic bus flights in Ukraine;
- on international routes.
Uklon Travel is currently in beta testing. Android users were the first to get access, and an iOS version is expected to be released soon.
According to Grishkov, the direction should complement the company's core business and create additional synergy with ride-hailing. The plans also include forming a separate team to develop the direction and gradually moving to direct integrations with carriers.
In 2027, this could become a driver of our additional growth,
– said the company CEO.
How can a rise in fuel prices affect the cost of a taxi?
Energy expert Gennady Ryabtsev told Channel 24 that fuel prices are one of the factors driving the rise in taxi prices in Ukraine. According to him, fuel is one of the price-forming factors, along with the cost of car maintenance, etc.

This will be a reason. Moreover, the growth usually occurs disproportionately. That is, the growth of the service can be significantly higher than the increase in fuel prices.
In particular, as explained to Channel 24 by Bolt, travel rates are formed dynamically under the influence of many factors.
This includes fuel prices, the number and activity of drivers and passengers, the specific time and place of the order, weather conditions, traffic jams, the situation with public transport, air alerts, trip category, etc.
Of course, in the long term, an increase in fuel costs usually leads to an increase in prices for many goods and services, and the ride-hailing sector (a service for sharing private cars for transporting passengers, – 24 Channel) is no exception,
– says Serhiy Pavlyk, general manager of Bolt in Ukraine.
However, Pavlyk adds that user demand and the number of active drivers on the platform depend not only on fuel prices, but also on a whole range of economic, social, and seasonal factors.
