Many Ukrainians have the right to make reservations. Among them are feremers. However, not all of them, but those who meet certain criteria prescribed in current legislation.
How can a farmer get reservation from mobilization?
Reservations are provided if the farm has the status of a critically important enterprise in agriculture, as experts on the website Yurysty.UA reported.
At the same time, simply creating a farm will not help. As experts have noted, “by itself” it does not provide armor.
The farm must receive the status of critical . And only after that, reservations are made for specific individuals (including the head, if he is the manager).
Please note! Thus, mobilization is not provided for employees of enterprises, institutions and organizations that ensure the functioning of the agro-industrial complex during the sowing or harvesting period. This is stated in Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization”.
To obtain a reservation, the company's management submits the necessary documents to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, which coordinates the lists with the General Staff of the Armed Forces. This was reported by lawyer Dmytro Franchuk.
Depending on the region and type of farm, farmers can submit a request to the CCK (military registration and enlistment office) for a postponement for the sowing or harvesting period,

In particular, you should submit documents confirming employment in agricultural work:
- certificate from the company;
- employment contract;
- farm documents, etc.
Farmers who work as sole proprietors or founders of farms must provide documents on the amount of land under cultivation, the presence of hired workers, the volume of agricultural production, etc. But this will only help if the farm is critically important for the region.
In addition, in some cases, farmers receive reservations for the sowing and harvesting periods. However, this is not explicitly enshrined in the legislation.
Practice shows that the important decision of local military administrations and the submission of relevant requests by agricultural enterprises,

Important! The best option is to contact the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the OVA in advance to include the enterprise in the list of critically important ones.
What else should farmers know?
- Some farmers can get big money. We are talking about microbusinesses and small businesses in the agricultural sector. Their owners can apply for a grant of 100 thousand hryvnias – for launching or scaling a project.
- At the same time, every Ukrainian who has reached the age of 18 can apply for 2 hectares of land. However, this service is currently unavailable due to martial law.
