Drozdenko stated that over the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation, Russian air defense destroyed more than 60 drones in less than a day.
“A fuel tank was damaged in the port of Primorsk, a fire broke out. Firefighting is underway, personnel have been evacuated,” he said.
Also, according to the governor, one of the drones damaged a power line support near the village of Yermilovo, Vyborg district, when it fell.
The port of Primorsk in the Leningrad Region is the largest Russian oil loading port on the Baltic Sea, the terminus of the Baltic Pipeline System. Its capacity is up to 75 million tons of oil per year.
The Astra channel reported that a Russian air defense missile exploded a kilometer from the VYSKOM military plant in Gatchina, Leningrad Region.
“VYSKOM” is an enterprise specializing in the development and production of close combat weapons and explosive devices; the creation of special equipment for the needs of law enforcement agencies. It is included in the register of organizations of the defense-industrial complex (DIC) of the Russian Federation.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced the shooting down of 249 Ukrainian drones over the Sea of Azov and the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov, Smolensk, Tver, Tula regions, and the Moscow region.
