
A military helicopter crash in Qatar killed all seven people on board, including four military personnel and three Turkish citizens.

As reported by the Qatari Ministry of Defense, the cause of the disaster, according to preliminary data, was a technical malfunction.
Turkey confirmed the death of its serviceman and two employees of the defense company Aselsan.
The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced the names of the deceased and expressed condolences to their families. It also clarified that the helicopter was performing a planned mission when the malfunction occurred.
The dead were identified as: pilot Captain Mubarak Salem Dawai al-Marri, Sergeant Fahad Hadi Ghanem al-Hayarin, Corporal Mohammed Maher Mohammed and Captain Saeed Nasser Sameh (all from the Qatari Armed Forces); Major Sinan Tastekin (Joint Qatari-Turkish Forces), and Turkish civilian collaborators Suleyman Cemra Kahraman and Ismail Anas Can.
The Turkish side reported that the accident occurred during a training flight. At the same time, both countries stressed that there are currently no indications that the disaster was the result of hostile action.
