The appearance of the iPhone 17e on store shelves is a highly anticipated event for fans of the Apple brand, as this gadget offers flagship technologies for a more moderate price. The smartphone, which is presented as the most balanced solution in terms of cost and technical capabilities, has finally become available in Ukraine.
What technical innovations did the iPhone 17e receive?
At the start of sales, buyers will be offered two modifications in terms of built-in memory: a 256 gigabyte version and a 512 gigabyte version. The color palette includes three shades – classic black, pure white and delicate pink, writes 24 Channel .
- The cost of the device in Ukraine starts at 34,999 hryvnias for the base model as part of a promotional offer, after which it will be 37,999 hryvnias, according to the publication “Mezha”.
- The older version will cost 44,999 hryvnias at a special price and 47,999 hryvnias at full price.
The company offers a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, made using OLED technology. The screen provides up to 1200 nits of brightness in HDR mode, ensuring a clear image even in direct sunlight.
To protect the front panel, the updated Ceramic Shield 2 glass was used, which, according to technical data, is three times more scratch-resistant than previous developments.
The smartphone's body is made of aerospace-grade aluminum, and its tightness meets the IP68 standard, which allows the device to withstand short-term immersion in water, Apple said during the gadget's presentation.

The system's performance is provided by a modern 6-core A19 processor, built on an advanced 3-nanometer process. This chip demonstrates a significant increase in speed: according to the developers, it works twice as fast as the then-popular iPhone 11.
The 4-core graphics subsystem supports hardware ray tracing, which significantly improves visual effects in games. A separate role is played by the 16-core Neural Engine, which is necessary for the operation of Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence functions integrated into the iOS 26 operating system.

The main Fusion camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels is responsible for shooting capabilities. Although there is only one lens, it effectively acts as two thanks to the 2x optical zoom system, which works without loss of image quality.
The smartphone is capable of creating detailed images in 24 or 48 megapixel format, and the improved portrait mode allows you to adjust the focus on the finished frame. Video lovers have received support for recording in 4K Dolby Vision format with a frequency of up to 60 frames per second.

An important detail is the new C1X modem, developed by Apple, which provides faster and more energy-efficient operation in 5G networks.
The device's battery life allows you to watch videos for 26 hours without recharging. The smartphone supports fast wired charging via the USB-C port, which can restore half of the battery's power in just 30 minutes.
Support for the Qi2 wireless charging standard with a power of up to 15 watts and the MagSafe magnetic system have also been introduced.
In addition to entertainment features, the iPhone 17e takes care of safety, offering satellite communication for emergency calls and automatic traffic accident detection.
