The cost of eggs in Ukraine continues to rise – in just one month, prices have increased by more than 3%. In annual terms, the increase in price is even more significant and exceeds 30% since 2025.
Egg prices in Ukraine have increased over the year
In February, the average consumer price of eggs in Ukraine increased by 3.1% to 68.33 hryvnia per dozen, compared to 66.27 hryvnia in January, according to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
In annual terms, the price increase is even more noticeable. Compared to February 2025, eggs have increased in price by 33.6% – from 51.14 hryvnia per dozen .
At the same time, the department clarifies that the above indicators do not take into account data from temporarily occupied territories, as well as regions where hostilities are ongoing or have been fought.
How much does a dozen cost in the supermarket?
According to the Ministry of Finance website, currently the following prices for a dozen eggs are available in the most popular supermarket chains in Ukraine:
Chicken eggs Yasensvit, 1st grade, 10 pieces.
- Auchan 78.50 hryvnias;
- Megamarket 88.20 hryvnias;
- Novus 79.99 hryvnias;
- Auchan 83.60 hryvnias;
- Varus 79.80 hryvnias.
