
Galatasaray striker Noah Lang suffered a serious finger injury during the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Liverpool.
Lang's injury incident occurred towards the end of the match against Liverpool. In the 75th minute, the Galatasaray forward entered into a duel for the ball with Reds midfielder Curtis Jones near the touchline, after which he flew into an advertising board.

While trying to recover from the results of the fight, Lang noticed blood on his finger, after which he grabbed it, and doctors immediately ran to him to provide assistance. At first, the football player tried to leave the field on his feet, but was unable to do so.

In the end, Lang needed a stretcher to leave the field, and traces of his blood remained where the Dutch forward had landed.

Galatasaray reported that Lang suffered a “serious cut to his finger on his right hand,” requiring surgery.
Lang is one of two Galatasaray players injured in the match against Liverpool. Team leader Victor Osimhen suffered a hand injury in the first half and was substituted at half-time.
Galatasaray were eliminated by Liverpool after a two-legged tie. Despite winning the first leg 1-0, the Turkish team lost the second leg 0-4.
