As a result of a night attack on March 20 in the Odessa region by Russian attack drones, two civilian commercial vessels were damaged. They were sailing under the flags of Palau and Barbados.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba and the Head of the Odessa Oblast Autonomous Region Oleh Kiper.
What is known about the attack on the Odessa region?
Two people were injured in the Russian attack and received medical assistance.
At the time of the strike, the ships were at the docks and were loaded with grain. Despite the shelling, they remain afloat.

The attack also damaged a grain bunker and equipment. A fire broke out on the territory, which has already been contained.
This is another war crime by Russia against global food security!

By the way, Russia regularly attacks Ukrainian ports. The day before, water pollution with fats and oils was discovered in the Black Sea near Odessa. This may be related to the shelling of December 2025, when significant amounts of sunflower oil fell into the water.

Zaporizhzhia region was also under attack by drones at night. As a result, private houses were destroyed in Zaporizhzhia itself. A 30-year-old woman was killed, and two more people were injured – a 48-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy.

It was also noisy in Kharkiv at night. An educational institution building was damaged during the attack.

In total, 156 drones attacked Ukraine that night, 133 of which were destroyed by air defense. 19 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 13 locations, as well as downed ones falling in 7 locations.
