The Cabinet of Ministers approved the attraction of grant budget support from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association in the amount of 1.258 billion US dollars.
The corresponding order dated March 18, 2026 No. 244-r was published on the Government Portal.
It is noted that the grant funds, equivalent to 193.45 billion Japanese yen, are attracted taking into account the conditions specified in the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Japan dated April 18, 2025, and are credited to the general fund of the state budget.
According to the document, the Ministry of Finance must make appropriate changes to the state budget within ten days of receiving the funds.
