The Poco X series of smartphones has always been associated with affordable power, but the new generation raises the bar to a previously unattainable level. The company presented not just another update, but a complete change of concept, where flagship speed is added to record autonomy.
What solutions make new smartphones leaders in their segment?
The main sensation of the presentation was the Max model, which appeared for the first time in this line. The manufacturer relied on record autonomy, equipping the device with a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 8,500 mAh. The version for the Chinese market received an even larger battery of 9,000 mAh, writes 24 Kanal .
These figures allow the smartphone to work for up to two days in active use. Laboratory tests show incredible results: the device is able to withstand about 22 hours of continuous operation under load, which is almost three times higher than the performance of standard smartphones with 5,000 mAh batteries.
At the same time, the battery retains 80% of its capacity even after 1,600 charging cycles, which is equivalent to approximately six years of operation.

The device's power also meets flagship standards:
- Poco X8 Pro Max is based on the latest 3-nanometer MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, which scores over 3 million points in the popular AnTuTu benchmark, writes GadgetMatch.
- The smartphone received up to 12 gigabytes of RAM of the modern LPDDR5X standard and an internal storage of up to 512 gigabytes of UFS 4.1 format.
- To prevent overheating during intense gaming sessions, an advanced IceLoop cooling system is used.
- The younger model, the Poco X8 Pro, runs on the 4-nanometer Dimensity 8500-Ultra chip, which also shows a significant increase in graphics performance and supports hardware ray tracing.

The displays of both new products are impressively bright, reaching a peak value of 3500 nits, which makes the information on the screen readable even in direct sunlight.
The older model is equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. To protect the eyes, anti-PWM technology with a frequency of 3840 Hz is implemented, which minimizes flickering at low brightness.
The device cases are protected according to the highest IP68 and IP69K standards, which allows them to withstand immersion in water to a depth of up to 2 meters.
Cameras
Photographic capabilities are provided by 50-megapixel main sensors with optical image stabilization. The Max model is equipped with a Light Fusion 600 sensor, and the Pro version – Sony IMX882. Additionally, the smartphones have 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle modules and 20-megapixel front cameras.

Software
The software part is based on the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 shell with integrated Google Gemini artificial intelligence, offering smart search and content enhancement functions.
An interesting addition is support for Offline Communication technology, which allows you to make voice calls even when there is no mobile network. The Pro Max model also now supports eSIM, which is a significant advantage for travelers.
A special gift for Marvel fans
For comic book fans, a special limited version of the Poco X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition was presented, made in black and gold colors with a stylized interface and a body resembling Iron Man's reactor.

- The price of the Poco X8 Pro starts at $329, while the Max version will cost buyers from $399.
- In Ukraine, prices range from 16,999 hryvnias for the POCO X8 Pro (8/256 gigabytes) to 24,999 hryvnias for the POCO X8 Pro Max (12/512 gigabytes), according to the Allo network.
