Ukraine, Austria to expand coeration in social sphere

Minister of Social Picy of Ukraine Oksana Zhnovych and Federal Minister of Social Affairs of Austria Johannes Rauch signed the Protoc of Intentions on Ukraine–Austria coeration in social sphere.

"Minister of Social Picy of Ukraine Oksana Zhnovych and Federal Minister of Social Affairs of Austria Johannes Rauch signed the Protoc of Intentions on Ukraine–Austria coeration in social sphere online," the Embassy of Ukraine in Austria posted on Facebook.

The document expands the framework of Ukraine–Austria coeration in the areas important to Ukraine in the context of the consequences of Russian aggression, in particular, in the issue of rehabilitation, psychogical support, develment of foster homes.

"In addition, Austria will provide practical support on Ukraine's path to the EU and will contribute to the invvement of our country in EU social programs," the Embassy informed.

As reported, since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Austria has provided more than EUR 129 million in financial and humanitarian aid. The Federal Government of Austria, federal lands, communities and the pulation also make a significant contribution to the reception and integration of Ukrainian IDPs. Currently, more than 55,000 Ukrainians live in Austria.
