The woman accused of shooting at Barbadian singer Rihanna's Beverly Hills home could face life in prison. The suspect has been charged with 14 counts, including attempted murder.
Ivanna Ortiz, 35, was charged with one count of attempted murder on Tuesday, March 10. According to an indictment obtained by People, it was a “premeditated and premeditated murder.”
Ivanna Ortiz is also charged with 10 counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and three counts of shooting at a dwelling or campsite. If convicted of the charges, the woman faces up to life in prison. A hearing in the case is scheduled for March 25.

The suspect appeared in court Tuesday wearing a blue prison uniform. She spoke to her lawyer through glass, the Associated Press reported. Ortiz's lawyer pleaded not guilty, but he later retracted that plea before the defendant was arraigned.
