There are over 3,000 dollar billionaires in the world, and many Ukrainians are on this list. In particular, seven made it into the updated Forbes rating: among them Akhmetov, Poroshenko, and other businessmen.
Which Ukrainians made it to the Forbes list?
The publication has updated the list of the richest people in the world, adding information as of March 2026, Forbes Ukraine reported.
- The richest Ukrainian remains the owner of the DTEK and Metinvest groups, Rinat Akhmetov : his fortune is estimated at $7.8 billion. Last year, it was $7.9 billion.
- Next is the owner of the investment and industrial group “Interpipe” Victor Pinchuk , who has 2.8 billion dollars, while last year his capital was estimated at 3.2 billion.
- The co-founder of the fintech company Revolut , Vlad Yatsenko, instead increased his fortune, reaching $2.2 billion in 2026. Last year it was $1.2 billion.
- Petro Poroshenko has $1.5 billion, which is less than $1.8 billion last year.
- The fortune of Andriy Verevsky, the founder of the Kernel agricultural holding, also decreased from $1.4 billion to $1.2 billion.
- The fortunes of two Ukrainian businessmen – Vadym Novinsky and Kostyantyn Zhevago – have hardly changed over the year and amount to about $1.2 billion each.
How did the billionaire ranking change in 2025?
In 2025, the top five richest people remained the famous Elon Musk, Larry Ellison and Jeff Bezos, who have been at the top of the ranking for several years in a row. However, this year, Alphabet has achieved significant success, which allowed its founders to also enter the list of billionaires, writes Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
So, the top 5 places in the billionaires ranking in 2025 were occupied by:
1. Elon Musk
Elon Musk maintains the top spot in the ranking of the richest people, just like in 2024. His fortune was estimated at $461 billion (as of the end of 2025). This is $28.2 billion more than last year.
2. Larry Ellison
Larry Ellison rose to 2nd place in the ranking in 2025 (last year he was in 4th place). His fortune reached 281 billion dollars , which is 88.5 billion more than in 2024.
3. Larry Page
Larry Page did not make the top five billionaires last year, but rose to 3rd place in 2025. His fortune is estimated at $274 billion , which is $106 billion more than last year.
4. Sergey Brin
Sergey Brin was also not in the TOP ranking, but rose to 4th place with a fortune of $255 billion (+96.9 billion per year).
5. Jeff Bezos
Jeff Bezos dropped from 2nd place to 5th place with a fortune of $254 billion , passing Alphabet shareholders. Bezos' fortune increased by $15.1 billion over the year.
