Ukrainian volleyball player Svitlana Dorsman, together with the Polish team “Developopres”, was defeated in the first match of the quarterfinals of the Champions League by the Turkish team “Express Istanbul”.
By the quarterfinals of the Volleyball Champions League, “Developopres” came out on top of Group E, in which the Ukrainian team won five wins in six matches, and their only defeat was against the French team “Levallois”.

Thanks to the first place in the group, the Polish team managed to avoid the play-offs and directly reach the quarter-finals. The opponent of “Developopres” at this stage was the Turkish team “Express”, which also won its group and did not play in the play-offs.
How was the match between “Developpress” and “Exhibition”?
- The first set ended in a victory for “Developopres”. In the second half of the match, the Polish volleyball team seized the initiative and won with a score of 25:22.
- In the second set, the Turkish team left no chance for their rivals, winning by 13 points — 25:12. The third set was more competitive, but in the end, the team from Istanbul was stronger here too — 25:20.
- In the decisive, fourth set, the volleyball players of “Eczzajibashi” took the lead from the start of the game and held the advantage until the very end of the game. Despite the fact that at the end of the game the volleyball players of the Polish team managed to equalize the situation, the Turks managed to avoid a tiebreak – 25:23.
- Svitlana Dorsman spent only four minutes on the court in the first set and did not score any goals.
