According to the inquiry, the company’s head tendered a proposal in July 2018 to engage in a bidding process announced by a state establishment for the modernization of hydraulic equipment. Subsequent to the procedure, an accord was formalized between the entities with a total worth of 88.6 million hryvnias.
As per the conditions of the agreement, the state establishment conveyed an upfront payment to the contractor equating to half the contract’s value – exceeding 43 million UAH. Nevertheless, the duties defined in the pact were left undone.
Instead, as per law enforcement, the director of the firm handled the procured finances at their own volition. Specifically, immediately following receipt of the funds, they channeled it into the private account held abroad by the company’s creator.
As a result of these actions, the state establishment incurred detriments exceeding 43 million UAH.
As a result of such actions, the state-owned enterprise suffered losses in the amount of over UAH 43 million.
