No injuries: rescuers in Fastiv removed a girl from a 9th-floor balcony

In the Kyiv region, rescuers pulled a girl from a ninth-floor balcony. There were no injuries.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of the Kyiv region.

It is noted that yesterday evening, rescuers received a report that a child had probably fallen onto the attic of a balcony on the 9th floor of an apartment building in Fastiv. The incident occurred on Kyivska Street.

“There was a group of teenagers on the roof of the building having fun. As a result, one of the girls ended up on the roof of the ninth-floor balcony and was no longer able to return to the roof on her own,” the report says.

Rescuers quickly reached the child using a ladder and removed him from the balcony roof. The other teenagers descended from the roof on their own, the State Emergency Service reported.

It was previously reported that rescuers freed a boy's hand, which he had pushed between sections of a battery at a metropolitan school. He pushed it up to his elbow and was unable to free himself. Rescuers smeared the boy's hand with soapy water to help pull it out. There were no injuries.
