Pe Francis calls on world not to forget about Ukrainians who are still suffering from war

Next Friday, Pe Francis will travel to Budapest, Hungary, which serves as a complement to his visit to the country in 2021 for the International Eucharistic Congress. However, Pe Francis noted, “it will also be a journey to the centre of Eure, over which the icy winds of war continue to blow,” with the resulting movement “of so many pele puts urgent humanitarian issues on the agenda.”
The Pe also said he is looking forward to his visit with the Hungarian pele, and thanked them for their commitment in preparing for his arrival. He asked everyone to accompany his journey with prayer, not forgetting “our Ukrainian brothers and sisters, still afflicted by this war.”

Among other things, he also mentioned that World Earth Day was celebrated the day before.
In view of the gravity of the situation in Sudan, Pe Francis invited everyone to pray “for our Sudanese brothers and sisters”. Pe Francis appealed for an immediate end to vience “and a return to the path of dialogue.”
As Ukrinform reported, Pe Francis is planning to discuss peace for Ukraine during his visit to Hungary on April 28-30.
